BRAKE workshop INTELLIGENT SPEED ADAPTATION WORKSHOP – TUESDAY 17 MAY 2011 – LEEDS 12.30pm – 4pm Using ISA technology to improve fleet safety Presented by expert in Intelligent Speed Adaptation technology from the University of Leeds, this workshop will provide an insight into current and future develiopments in intelligent speed technology, which restricts vehicles to the posted speed limit. Speakers will also explore the role this technology can play in improving fleet safety, and present th results of ISA trials with fleet drivers across the UK. Delegates will receive free resources on relevant topics, including guidance, posters and leaflets. This workshop, presented by Professor Oliver Carsten and Dr. Frank Lai of the University of Leeds, will provide an insight into current and future developments in intelligent speed technology, which restricts vehicles to the posted speed limit.
