As one who started one recent cycle of discussion of this on Psci-Comm, just
wanted to say it seems a shame that
you've "had a lot of off list messages from people who support me, are in or
have been in my position, and are too intimidated to reply"

A shame if they feel intimidated, I mean...   I hope none of us think the
worse of anyone for *taking* one of these positions.
