I know, I didn't mean to sound so categorical. I'm presently coming to grips
with an idea of poetics that tends to veer away from the hero-worship and
egocentrism of past decades & centuries, and it hasn't quite taken form for
me as a concept yet. It's unnerving, but inspiring.
