I know it was a while since I trained but surely the best protection is following the precautions we are taught throughout our training, in my day it was called universal precautions, I am sure it will be called something else by now. My understanding is after one vaccination ( of the three/four)they can work in the care setting environment ,but despite searching I can not find this reference, I have read and re-read the green book to no avail, I did manage to get some American documentations but I need it to apply to the UK Thank you in anticipation.
