Hi Asbestos, when wet, does not pose a problem as far as I am aware. I think the problem would arise if they got it on their clothing and then washed it with fibres clinging to their clothing and then dried in a tumble drier, there may be some fibres in the air. Unlikely I know, but it could be possible. I think you need to speak to someone from HSE with regard to this but my opinion is that the exposure to wet asbestos would not cause a problem Regards Celia ******************************** Please remove this footer before replying.
