A Wapping Exhibition

The exhibition, News International 25 Years On, the Workers' story, opened on Sunday 1 May at the Marx Memorial Library, 37a Clerkenwell Green, London EC1R 0DU (nearest tube Farringdon). The exhibition runs until 31May, Monday to Friday (including bank holidays) from 10.00 am to 5.00pm. After that it will move on to other venues, including the TUC headquarters in central London, to Liverpool and other cities.

Media studies students are particularly welcome to visit the exhibition, which presents the most traumatic dispute in media history from the point of view of those taking part, and draws conclusions on the effect it had on the subsequent developments of the media.

The multi-media exhibition has been organised by Unite, the National Union of Journalists, Campaign for Press and Broadcasting Freedom and the Marx Memorial Library. For group bookings, please ring 020 7253 1485 and/or contact: www.marx-memorial-library.org
