Dear Colleagues, I have received several complaints about the escalating tone of emails sent to the list yesterday and have therefore enabled full moderation of all posts to the list during a cooling off period. During this period there will be a slight delay between anyone posting messages to the list and them being received by list subscribers, whilst messages are pending moderation by myself. Please note that I do not intend to censor any particular points of view, but colleagues must respect others on the list and conduct debate in a courteous manner. I will not forward any further messages regarding yesterday’s exchange. Can I please also remind everyone that posts to the MeCCSA mailing list are subject to the JISCMail acceptable use policy, which states: “Sending messages to JISCMail lists is generally a matter of common sense and courtesy.
