This event which is hosted by John Adlam, Jo-anne Carlyle and Christopher Scanlon offers a series of talks in the tradition of the Cafe Scientifique et Culturel and an ongoing experiential Large Group. Our intention is to provide a space in which members can think and talk together about our experiences of belonging and membership; inclusion and exclusion; structure and culture; the relationship between the individual, the group and society – and whatever pre-occupations members choose to bring.

 

Meetings take place on the last Wednesday of every month (except August and December) in Central London

All are welcome Cost: £25 for waged, Low income/unwaged - pay what you can afford. Under 18s free

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education. Membership is open to all who teach and research these subjects in HE institutions, via either institutional or individual membership.
