Croydon Libraries are developing their business support offer. We deliver monthly sessions on how to use business online resources such
as COBRA, Keynote and FAME. We have a programme of business talks planned which will be free to attend and delivered by people with experience in business; we have just started business advisor sessions on a monthly basis – an advisor giving free business
advice on a drop-in basis. We are planning an event with South London Business, an organisation that supports business, in June to be held at the library. In terms of jobs advice we have a contract from Prospects to deliver next step advice for those aged
18 plus. We are also hoping to run a work club with volunteers as facilitators at one of our libraries – working with job centre plus and Croydon Voluntary Action.

Subject: Hello can anyone help me with information about shared info services in public libraries.
I'm trying to find examples of where public libraries providing information services (more specifically business start up information), in conjunction with other council departments or other business.
If anyone knows of any places where this has happened, or if there has been any discussions or reports on the possibility of shared information services (other examples
I can think of may be jobs advice, careers advice, CAB, etc), I'd be grateful if they could share.
Many Thanks,
Ka-Ming Pang
