With apologies for cross-posting: Job vacancy: Part-time Assistant Librarian, St Catharine's College Cambridge Assistant Librarian (0.5 FTE) St Catharine's College Cambridge Salary: in the region of £20,000 pro-rata St Catharine's College invites applications for the part-time post of Assistant Librarian. Working as part of a small team, the newly created role of Assistant Librarian will support the Librarian in a variety of tasks in support of teaching, learning, and research at St Catharine's, one of the constituent Colleges of the University of Cambridge. The Assistant Librarian will play an important role in maintaining a high standard of reader service to students, Fellows, and external researchers. Working in a busy library, duties will include cataloguing and classifying, but also daily contact with library users. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with familiarity with academic libraries and library IT systems.
