Sergio Raffaelli (1934-2010), historian of Italian language and cinema, lexicography, and, linguistic politics (with special emphasis in the fascist period), and of onomastics, has left his colleagues, friends, and students with great memories of esteem and admiration.
This volume, which collects 44 contributions by qualified scholars who wished to participate in homage to the memory of Sergio Raffaelli, is released ten months after his death. The articles reflect the principal scientific interests of the scholar commemorated.
