Hello, Apologies for earlier blank message. Please find below information for a PhD to start in October 2011. Could you please bring this to the attention of anyone who might be interested? A 3-year PhD project is available with a focus on adults with an intellectual disability who live at home with their family. The PhD will aim to investigate the physical and mental health needs of family caregivers and explore aspects of the quality of life of these adults. The project is a collaboration between the School of Psychology, Bangor University (Dr Vaso Totsika, Prof. Richard Hastings), Cartrefi Cymru (Mr Adrian Roper) and Mencap Cymru (Mr Wayne Crocker). This is a KESS-funded project (£14k+ p.a.) Applications are invited from eligible candidates. Deadline for applications is 26th May.
