Reminder Message to colleagues in Welsh FE Colleges,

The Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW) has commissioned a review of the implementation of its strategy for enhancing learning and teaching through technology and Aspire is carrying out this work. Key to all aspects of this study is the involvement of stakeholder organisations. We view FE colleges as important stakeholders due to the importance of elements such as widening access, progression routes between FE and HE and work-based learning for the future of HE.

The review is being undertaken in a spirit of ‘Appreciative Inquiry’ seeking to identify good practice that can be shared and to play a formative role in continuous improvement within the sector.

The link below will take you to a short survey forming part of the review. There are 12 questions and we expect it will take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete.

We would like as many responses as possible so please share this link with other colleagues. We hope that we can gather views from senior managers, learning & teaching practitioners, library and IT services, student admin and support services and people involved in external engagement amongst others.

The survey will remain open until 31st May.
