£30,870 - £35,788 per annum pro rata



Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Geography. The post is offered initially on a fixed term basis (until 31st December 2012) and as a part-time (0.6FTE) appointment.



Applications are sought from candidates who are able to undertake teaching and research in the broad area of sustainability and applications from candidates able to offer expertise in one (or more) of: urban sustainability; sustainable energy; sustainable transport; or sustainable urban communities are especially welcome. An ability to contribute to teaching in either GIS or remote sensing will be an added advantage.



The successful candidate is likely to either possess, or be close to completing, a PhD in a relevant discipline.
