Yes, i deleted it in the process and even if i try going back to 2.1.5 i still have the same bug.
Hello,
It might be the x11 but since you have the same version as me it would be a bit odd (but not impossible since it is different hardware). Does 2.1.5 still work on your laptop (it should still be there, unless you deleted it)?

I actually tried to delete everything and reinstall it again and still i'm
getting the same glitches. This all started happening when i tried installing
2.2.1 from 2.1.5 on my laptop. I did the same on my work computer and it works
fine. I can't remember what i used for 2.1.5 since i installed it a long time
ago back last summer. I could always partition my hardrive and install analysis
on either linux or windows. Do you think that there's a problem with my x11 and
not analysis?

Boy, I am running out of ideas. The one thing you can say about
Macs is that if it works on one machine it should work on all
machines (assuming same OSX and same X11, as we have here). For
Analysis 2.1.5 were you using the dmg installed version (so double
click to install) or the *.tgz version (so untar to install)? And
is 2.1.5 still working? (Assuming it is still on your disk.)

Hi Wayne,
It was originally in Tk mode and i managed to switch it to
OpenGL and i still get
the same bug. I'm using the same version of x11 as you are.

OK, that sounds completely knackered. Is this in OpenGL
mode (so
there should be messages about GL_VENDOR, etc., in the
shell if so)
or Tk mode (no such message)? (Well, assuming it is
crashing after
that message appears, which possibly might not be the
case.)
Also, if you do "About X11" under the X11 menu then what
version are
you using? (I'm using XQuartz 2.3.6, xorg-server
1.4.2-apple56.)

Hi Wayne,
I can't open any spectrums without x11 crashing. I can
make a

as soon as I try anything, it crashes.

Hello,
For 2.2.1, given the message below, it looks like
you were
using the
64-bit pre-compiled version of Analysis, and if you
were
using the
same for 2.1.5 then it looks to me that they were
compiled
with
identical flags and with identical Python/Tcl/Tk, so
I'm a
bit
puzzle by this. Can you create a new project in
2.2.1 and
open up
(say) a 2D spectrum?

Hi!
I converted from version 2.1.5 to 2.2.1 and now I
get an

Analysis will open but when i try to load my
project, x11
crashes (x11 "unexpectedly quit"). This never
happened
before
in 2.1.5. All other x11 programs work fine.
