Barts and The London NHS Trust is merging with Newham NHS Trust and
Whipps Cross NHS Trust.
We are investigating approaches to Equality Impact Assessment in
the context of merging organisations.
We are keen to have a picture of how Equality Impact
Assessment has been implemented in these circumstances based upon the
experiences of other organisations.
The main issue for investigation is how an EIA is undertaken when
organisations merge. The main question therefore is how is such an EIA
undertaken i.e in other words, what is the best way to undertake an EIA of
a merger?
Are there any examples? What are the main issues to focus upon?
Kind Regards
Sanchia Alasia
