I'm trying to develop a theory that the exceptionally high level of

non-traditional butchery (ie. crazy hacking) of the bones at this site

is related to violence towards the animals.  I would be most

interested

in any information on contemporary Iron Age sites on which a high

level

of violent butchery has been found.  Any information, at all, on

violence towards animals in the the Iron Age would be appreciated.
