I'd like to draw your attention to the following session at the upcoming AAG.  This session brings activists from Seattle in to talk about their work in the context of the Right to the City broadly defined.  These sessions have been lively and informative in the past, and this one promises to be excellent as well.

Session Description: This series of sessions, now in its fourth year, brings activists from the conference host city in to discuss the opportunities and challenges they face in relation to the concept of 'The Right to the City' broadly defined.  In past sessions in Boston, Las Vegas, and Washington DC, panelists and audience members have had lively, timely, and productive conversations about topics ranging from the potential of academic-activist collaboration to the political possibilities inherent in different discursive framings and material strategies for working toward social justice.
