The Physiological Society is currently recruiting for a new Policy Manager.

The primary objectives for this new position include: developing the policy profile of The Society, ensuring that we are able to identify and act on issues facing individuals working within the physiological sciences, and to ensure that the views of The Society are represented on a national and international stage.

The Policy Manager will work closely with The Society's members and external contacts, taking a pro-active and evidence-based approach to policy development and responding to consultations in a timely fashion. Policy responsibilities will include research funding, and regulation and environment for the in vivo sciences
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in science policy, preferably with at least a 2:1 in a life sciences degree.
