An apparently joyous woman,
leaning on large percentage signs,
placed for lust’s interpretation:
we perpetrate her with desire.

Behind her, one window is shut,
reflecting generalities,
a mirror of our bland nature:
she is there, wordless, to emote.

She prides herself; and we watch her
who is now, purchased, selling trust.

Perhaps, tomorrow, it’ll be fresh fruit
or her own lack of employment.

Yesterday, it was sexy clothing.
Soon, she’ll be portrayed in 3d
