Will ironstone mines do?

Tocketts Mine     NZ 621183
Stanghow Mines    NZ 654156
Skelton Park Pit    NZ 644180

Each was a chimney formed by an extension of the shaft lining well above 
ground; in each case the furnace was at the shaft bottom. They all date from 
about the 1870s; the first is intact as built, the other two modified by 
later conversion to winding shafts with surface fanhouse.
