The Ashmolean Museum is pleased to announce its Call for Papers for the conference 'Early Modern Merchants as Collectors' to be held at the museum 15-16 June 2012. The CFP is available at the conference website: http://earlymodernmerchants.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/

Scholars working on merchants in any area of the globe during the early modern period and on any collecting category, including scientific and medical, are encouraged to submit proposals. The deadline for submissions is 31 May 2011.
