Hello all Following on from my questions about allowing laptops to be plugged into power (for which many thanks to all who responded) I'm trying to gather an update on the current state of play with wi-fi offers. We currently don't offer this at all but I think we are now in the minority and need to find some way of providing it. Would be grateful for responses to the following questions Do you offer Wi-fi, and if so in how many sites? Do you charge for Wi-fi access? If so how much? Is it provided via Corporate/council networks or as a stand alone installation (e.g. via a commercial provider)? Do customers have to be library members? Is, or how is filtering provided? Do users have to sign or agree to an acceptable use policy? Do you have a booking system, and if so does it link to your LMS? Any pitfalls or anything else we should consider before or after installation Many thanks Sandra ___________________________ Sandra Sharp Electronic Services Manager Library and Information Service Leeds City Council Tel: 0113 3952341 Mob: 07891 276862 www.leeds.gov.uk ________________________________________________________________________ The information in this email (and any attachment) may be for the intended recipient only.
