The conference programme will feature a variety of presentations, workshops and debates allowing an excellent opportunity for networking and continuous professional development.

 

Conference learning outcomes

 

At the end of the conference, delegates will be able to understand issues relevant to new library and information professionals and have an improved ability to:

 

·        identify developmental needs and model relevant skills in the changing world of libraries and information

·        demonstrate professionalism and stand out from the crowd in economically challenging circumstances

·        recognise relevant issues and improve confidence to tackle them

·        analyse marketing techniques specially relevant to New Professionals

 

 

 Delegate rates:

 

CDG members - £60 + 20% VAT = £72

 

CILIP members - £70 + 20% VAT = £84

 

Non CILIP members - £80 + 20% VAT = £96

 

Students & Unwaged - £35 + 20% VAT = £42 (20 places available, on a first come first served basis)

 

Delegate rate includes morning and afternoon refreshments and buffet lunch
