CALLING ALL GIS / MAP DESIGN / CARTOGRAPHY STUDENTS

Come and spend a few months at our international Nokia offices in Berlin as a Map Design Student Intern!

You will gain valuable experience in map product design while working collaboratively with our product managers, user interface designers and software development teams. You will also help to research both new and existing map data sources.

You will apply your map design skills to help develop the next generation of Nokia Ovi Maps products on various platforms- mobile, desktop and web. e.g. maps.ovi.com

The internships are based in Berlin, Germany.

NO KNOWLEDGE OF GERMAN REQUIRED!

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST be currently studying: GIS, Map Design, Cartography or related field

MUST have experience using Illustrator, Photoshop and multiple GIS/mapping packages

MUST have drive for excellence and ability to work independently, with little supervision

SHOULD HAVE some experience in digital mapping and map/graphic design preferably for mobile devices or web applications

SHOULD HAVE an understanding of and passion for the personal navigation device and web mapping markets
