Dear all,

Wimbledon Windmill Museum, on the edge of Wimbledon Common in South West London, is looking for a freelance museum professional to carry out some research and development work related to its learning provision.

The Windmill is an accredited Museum which currently welcomes around 600 school visitors per year. In addition, many of our other visitors are family groups. School sessions are currently led by the Hon Curator and his wife, a former teacher.

The Trustees would like to appoint someone to carry out a research and development study of learning provision at the Windmill, for both formal and informal groups and families. This would include the development and piloting of a new schools session, plus an assesment of the sustainability of any models of working that are developed as part of the brief.

Please find the full brief, including closing dates, timescales and details of the fee available for this work, attached.

Any questions should be forwarded direct to me, please also circulate to colleagues you think might be interested.

Many thanks

Amy Ryall
Trustee (Learning)
Wimbledon Windmill Museum
