Zoolander satirises supermodel culture, and makes plenty of fashion statements of its own. You could call it meta-trashy. :o)

That's funny... I loved the magic-realist aspects of the film, like the boy's eyes becoming more intensely blue to represent an emotional change within the protagonist.
