We said farewell to Alice Beer today, at a celebration of her life held by her family at the Friends Meeting House. Poet, peacenik and potter, at 98 Alice had been the Leicester Poetry Society's oldest member. Items for remembrance were given out & I came away with December 1986 Greenham Badge. The memorial closed with the Greenham song too.
