A PhD position (3 years) is open at the GSMA (Groupe de Spectrométrie Moléculaire et Atmosphérique) laboratory for studying, by means of molecular dynamics simulations, the "Nucleation and growth of bubbles in liquids supersaturated with dissolved CO2: 
Application to bubbling in Champagne and sparkling wines".

This position is jointly funded by the university of Reims Champagne-Ardenne and the Bull company (CIFRE grant). The applicants must have european nationality (EU) and must have completed a master in physical chemistry, chemical physics, or biochemistry. Strong interest in molecular dynamics and especially classical force fields (AMBER, CHARMM, etc.) is requisite. Computing skills such as knowledge of fortran (77 or above) would be highly appreciated.  

The gross income is about 2000 €/month and the expected start date of the position is October 2011. Any interested applicant should send a detailed CV.
