Call for papers 1st Graduate Transport Regulation Seminar (GTRegS) 24, 25 May 2011 European University Institute Fiesole (Florence), Italy jointly organised by The Florence School of Regulation, Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute and The Chair of Management of Network Industries, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne The Graduate Transport Regulation Seminar The Graduate Transport Regulation Seminar (GTRegS) series is designed to bring to the fore outstanding graduate research on transport regulation. The GTRegS is co-organised by the Florence School of Regulation<http://fsr.eui.eu/> of the European University Institute (an international institution based in Florence, Italy) and by the Chair of Management of Network Industries<http://mir.epfl.ch/> of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland). The GTRegS will take place each year at the FSR to offer a collaborative discussion platform for PhD students who wish to present their research to other academics as well as to other transport regulation stakeholders. The first GTRegS will take place on 24-25 May 2011 in Fiesole, close to Florence (Italy) and will be open only to graduate students whose papers have been accepted for presentation. The final programme of the GTRegS will comprise presentations of the selected papers by graduate students and lectures by leading academics. The organisers plan to dedicate 24 May to papers and lectures on rail regulation and 25 May to papers and lectures on air transport regulation. A detailed programme of the event will be distributed in due time.
