Dear Colleagues, please see the Research Assistant position available below: Research Assistant in Metabolic and Functional MR Imaging Department of Neurology This is an exciting opportunity to participate in NIH funded research projects developing novel MRI methods for breast cancer research and functional neuroimaging. The MR laboratory (http://hsc.unm.edu/som/neuro/lab/) is recruiting an HS Research Tech 3 to participate in MRI experiments and to provide administrative support for the MR Laboratory. Tasks include: subject recruitment and consenting of research subjects for imaging studies, positioning of research subjects inside the MR scanner, experiment setup, programming and controlling of stimulus presentation, assistance with data acquisition, backup and record keeping of research data, and data analysis. This is a full-time position that offers stimulating work in a rapidly growing research environment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics, biology, chemistry, psychology or related field. One or more years of progressively responsible experience in the conduct of research or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication and organization skills Excellent computer skills.
