I never understand why I often get replies to queries on listservs before the original -- and sometimes never get the original!
I've done a good bit of work on the topic of feature films from the region.

I wouldn't recommend beyond the pink curtain. This is a very patronising film made in a sort of colonial approach toward LGBT people living in CCE.
