Vacancies - Chair in Human Geography (2 posts) University of St Andrews Department of Geography and Sustainable Development School of Geography and Geosciences Closing Date: 1 April 2011 This is an exciting opportunity to provide additional research leadership in human geography within the Department rated top in Scotland at the last RAE. We are seeking two established researchers who will enhance our reputation for international, agenda-setting research. The posts are part of a wider strategic investment in Geography. Applicants with research interests in any area of human geography are encouraged to apply but at least one of the Professors will have a strong track record in quantitative analysis, and preference may be given to candidates with substantive interests in population, health and wellbeing issues. An expertise in longitudinal analysis may also be an advantage. You will have a proven record of research leadership and of winning grants from research councils and other sources, excellent teaching skills and the ability to attract and supervise postgraduate students.
