Mark is totally right and in my experience the same applies to by far the majority of GP’s, anything else would be fraudulent.

You cannot say someone was unfit for work even a week ago without evidence.

 

I guess we have all experienced people manipulating the system, those who do deserve what they get, I smiled too !

Being registered or not is immaterial. If someone came to me for a fit note for a period where no consultation with any type of doctor had taken place they wouldn't get one
