Fit notes are for benefits and/or SSP purposes and must only be signed by a registered medical practitioner in black ink etc etc...

*Anyone* can of course write *anything* on request on any other sort of paper for a fee or free which might be taken as sufficient evidence by an employer of incapacity but the DWP will not accept it for the purposes of benefit allocation or SSP
