Several PhD research scholarships and postdoctoral positions are available immediately at the Laboratory for Attosecond Spectroscopy in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The successful candidates will employ few-cycle optical pulses and attosecond soft x-ray pulses to investigate attosecond to femtosecond coherent electron and nuclear dynamics in molecules and nanomaterials.

Candidates for the PhD scholarship must have a strong academic record; previous research experience is highly desired. Postdoctoral candidates must have a strong background in experimental physical chemistry or AMO physics, and must have previous experience in the operation and maintenance of femtosecond laser systems.

The PhD scholarships will cover tuition and provide a starting monthly stipend of S$2000 (S$1 = US$0.79). The postdoctoral positions come with a highly competitive salary package that includes performance bonus and relocation assistance.
