Research Associate Opening Air Force Research Laboratory - Space Vehicles Directorate, Kirtland AFB, NM The AFRL Space Chemistry/2 Laboratory is seeking an experimental physical chemist to conduct laboratory research on the spectroscopy of ionic liquids for space propulsion applications. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in laser spectroscopy, molecular beams, mass spectrometry, and computer interfacing. Familiarity with computational chemistry is also highly desirable. The lab is currently located at Hanscom AFB, outside of Boston, MA, but will be moving to Albuquerque, NM, this summer. The position will be available immediately upon completion of the move. Applicants must be US citizens. For a prospective or recent (past five years) PhD, the preference is to hire into a National Research Council (NRC) Postdoctoral Associateship.
