CENIR- CRICM- Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière- Paris, France Post-doctoral position, MEG data analysis: signal processing, causality measures A postdoctoral position is opened to implement and optimize causality measures (Granger causality, mutual information, transfer entropy), test those methods on simulated data and MEG recordings. The successful applicant should have a strong background in software development (C++, Matlab), and should appreciate team work and collaborative software development. Prior experience with time series analysis and grid computing would be an advantage but is not mandatory. The successful applicant would work in the Paris NeuroImaging center (http://www.cenir.org/), equipped with the latest version of Elekta MEG system, and located in a brand new institute ((http://www.cricm.upmc.fr) a stone's throw from the Latin's Quarter. He/she will be working within a team of 4 software engineers, and with researchers specialized in electrophysiological signal processing. The position is opened initially for a year and can be extended. The minimum brut monthly salary is 2365 € and can be raised depending on experience. The starting date is September 2011.
