Unfortunately it is a national problem, NHS Evidence are aware and working on it, see Kristin O’Leary’s message below (to subscribe to that mailing list for NHS Evidence service announcements, just email Kristin).

Dear all,

Please note that the HIR site is currently down, due to a technical problem.

The technical team are currently trying to resolve this issue and we will let you know when it is fixed.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Kind regards,

Kristin

Affirmative.

I just thought it was the network here- it is irrational at the best of times.

I can take solace in the fact that, in the words of Celine Dion I am not ‘all by myself’ this time.

Is anyone having trouble with NHS evidence and the HIR websites? We can’t get on to either site this morning without it grinding to a halt. Thought I’d ask if anyone else having the same problems before reporting it.

Regards
