Hi Colleagues,

At present we only seem to have 1 registered attendee (outside of PSSRU LSE) for the annual event on 18 April. Could you promote this as far as possible? If it helps we could say the following are confirmed speakers thus far:

  • Jeremy Porteus
  • Alex Fox
  • Jenny Owen
  • Ann Netten

General blurb:

SSCR Annual Meeting, 18 April 2011
The School’s annual meeting will take place on 18 April 2011 providing an opportunity for those interested in adult social care practice research to learn more about SSCR, its research and wider activities, as well as to learn more about SSCR funding opportunities. The meeting will bring together researchers, policy-makers, people who use services, carers and practitioners, among others, will present some early findings from SSCR-funded studies and reviews and will feature contributions from experts in the adult social care field. The meeting will be an opportunity to debate key issues and challenges in social care research.

Register for the Meeting through the LSE eShop.

Thanks very much

With best wishes
Anji
