Try locking the inspector inside the cabinet to see if he can get out.

Hi Michelle

We have a fire proof security cabinet bolted to the floor of a secure room. This room has window bars, a cement floor and 2 locks (1 being a 5 lever mortice lock). The keys for the security cabinet are held in one locked location, whilst the secure room keys are held in another locked location. Our inspector isn't happy with this. We still require a locking bar for the security cabinet.

Good luck!

Subject: Exam Paper Storage

Hi Everyone

At our recent JCQ inspection it was suggested that we replace our rather ‘unsecure’ filing cabinets in the secure room.

At the moment we have normal 4 drawer filing cabinets without any additional security features, and I was wondering if any centres have added any additional security to basic filing cabinets that the JCQ inspector has been happy with?

Alternatively does anyone know where we can purchase cabinets with the additional security which are reasonably priced?

Thanks
