ABOUT THE POST
The Project forms part of the Britain at Work 1945-1995 Oral History
Programme The project will digitise and make available on a microsite,
linked to The Union Makes Us Strong: TUC History Online website, a
range of document and audio resources from the TUC Library Collections and
other oral history projects. You will be part of the Project Management
Team and liaise closely with TUC Library and other University staff.
Duties will include preparing tender documents and liaison with external
suppliers and partners, contributing to the monitoring of the Project,
web authoring, and addition of metadata for images and audio resources
onto the Ke Emu contents management system. Education to degree level
and experience of project management are essential. Experience with
digitisation projects and audio materials, and knowledge of British
social history and trade unions are desirable.
This is a fixed-term post for 5 months from the date of commencement.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Salary £27,849 to £33,225 per annum (inclusive of
London Allowance)
