Dear Allstat, A unique position has arisen within Fraud Analytics for a Senior Statistical Modelling Manager looking for the best of both worlds: a role that is both heavily analytical, whilst being high profile and managerial. Working for one of the largest and most renowned financial organisations at the cutting edge of statistical and analytical methods, if you consider yourself to be a data mining expert and an energetic visionary with the ability to deliver leading analytics and strategy then fraud is where you should be. The role will be to – • Manage a team of 10 (PhD level) analysts • Research and Develop new innovative analytical techniques • Lead the development and implementation of leading pattern recognition, data mining and statistical modelling techniques to deliver the best in fraud prevention • Help set the strategic vision of the fraud analytics division • Manage stakeholder relations • Represent the company at external forums • Be constantly on the look out and driving towards improving modelling procedure and accuracy • Adapt quickly to forward thinking projects and new ideas • Be an integral part of a forward reaching company of highly able professionals You do not need specific fraud experience, however if you do that’s great.
