Dave E Post-doctoral Research Associate Lincoln Theological Institute The University of Manchester - School of Arts, Histories and Cultures Closing date: 18/04/2011 Reference: HUM/11836 Applications are invited for the post of Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Lincoln Theological Institute, an international centre of expertise in the theological study of religion and society. You will propose, develop and carry out a research project that meets the aims and ethos of the Institute. Since 2003, the Institute has been based in the Department of Religions and Theology at the University of Manchester; its Director is Dr Peter Scott, to whom the post holder will report. The post is tenable from 1 September 2011 on a two-year fixed term contract, extendable for a third year. You will have completed a PhD in Theology / Christian Studies / Theological Ethics, and have a record of high-quality research, participation in relevant theological networks. You will also have good IT skills. A record of high-quality publication, a demonstration of innovative ways of maximising the impact of research, and a record of applying for research funding are desirable but not essential.
