Dear Colleague,

 

I am posting this to several different email lists, so please accept my apologies in advance for duplications!

 

The International Society for the Study of New Religions, the first professional membership organization for the NRM researchers, was incorporated in Sweden in 2009. The preliminary ISSNR website can be found at: 

 

 

Rather than beginning with an independent conference, this year ISSNR will be holding sessions in tandem with the annual CESNUR meeting in Taiwan.

 

Our biannual journal is being published by Equinox. I must say that it is quite attractive. The first and second issues appeared last year; the third issue should be available in the near future:

We have also initiated an NRM book series, Approaches to New Religions, that will be published by Equinox.
