I had to reinstall XOT completely (with the new Youtube.rlm) on the server to get YouTube page working (with the old embed code though, the new one is not working but it's not a blocker) So It's working now and I want to thank you all for your nice support. By the way, it would be really nice if we could get a similar upgrade of the YouTube page in the Media Interaction template.
A question for the video (flv) page, is there a maximum file size? I managed to use a 4 Mo video, but seem to have trouble with flv files above 10 MO (seems to upload and appears has it had been uploaded, but actually is not and I get the message 'you must select media before you can preview it'. Are there any plans for an upgraded version of XOT?
Cheers, Franck

Thank you Julian. I installed the youtube.rlm file on the server, tried it after clearing the local cache, but the video won't load. (I can read it on youtube, so it doesn't relate to the internet connection)
So I'm still stuck...
Franck

Probably not. It's attached.

The Youtube.rlm that Julian/Pat attached to the Xerte list supported the new iframe embed code as that's what I'm using. Perhaps it hasn't made it in to the full build yet though.

I clicked on reply to the message below and hadn't noticed it went direct rather than to the list so for the benefit of the list...

Try ticking the box to 'use old embed code'

I'm not 100% sure but I think the previous change of youtube.rlm file was to accommodate a previous change that YouTube made to their code and not the current change where by default the embed code is an iframe which doesn't work. Copying the old embed code works fine.

Hi,
I've downloaded and installed the new youtube.rml file but the video won't load. Anyone found a solution?
Cheers, Franck
