I'm trying to use the cosbell application which is part of FIGARO package to make an image go smoothly to zero before performing an FFT.  I've tried a few different things, but the only filter I can produce is an image that goes from 1 to 0 in one discrete step at the edges instead of smoothly like it is supposed to produce.  Can anyone verify that cosbell works?
