Response to the Queensland flood has included scrapping the Australian learning and Teaching Fund (and the ALTC) to raise money for flood relief.



In fact a number of factors change the expected context for 2012.

•Scrapping the Australian Learning and Teaching Fund

•Deferring annual bonus funding for universities to at least 2014 while they settle on a measure to replace the CEQ

•A hiatus while AQUA is replaced with a new agency
