We at the EIB are intending to go down this route also, later this year. I shall be happy to compare experiences once we've been running for a while, but that may be some time.

Has anyone had any experience with file archiving software?  IT are thinking of purchasing software to archive the files on our network into offline storage.  Along the way duplicate files will be deleted and other clever processes IT would like to implement are likely to be included.

As this is all new to me I would welcome peoples views on pros and cons of this software.
