The Institute
of Physics are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and creative physical
sciences graduate to join the physics in society team as outreach
officer.
The post holder will be responsible for devising
and delivering projects aimed at engaging public audiences with physics as well
as promoting good practice in public engagement among the wider physics
community.
Applicants should have proven ability of working on
complex projects with a variety of stakeholders and of working under their own
initiative. They should also be able to communicate science to public audiences
and have excellent team working skills.
This role will require an enhanced Criminal Records
Bureau Disclosure.

Salary - £24,000 - £26,000 per annum, plus
